Pucon was so nice that it deserves a blog for it s own.
First of all, the hostel I was in was perfect, the owner (who was dutch) and the rest of the staff were incredibly friendly. I could book and pay all the excursions I wanted to do from out of the hostel and I even got picked up and brought back. I slept in a tent there, but a fancy one this time. Thick blankets and I could even stand up straight inside.
The first two days it was rainy, but I walked around a little, which was nice. And the second day I did something called hydrospeeding, only done in Pucon. It is basically going down a river with the stream on a bodyboard, wearing flippers. A lot of fun!
The third day the weather was perfect, so I climbed the (Villarica, 2850 meters high) volcano! With a group of other travelers from the hostel and a few guides we headed up to the foot of the volcano at 7 in the morning. There we put all our protecting clothing on (which we all got with the tour) and went up! Walking through the snow up a volcano was amazing! And actually not hard at all, except for one very windy part). Up we saw the smoking crater (not the lava unfortunately, that is quite rare to see). From up there we could see about ten other volcanos in the area, all covered in snow, beautiful!
Than there was the way down, which went slightly quicker, because we did it sliding! I felt like a little kid again, so much fun! I kept on passing by people, in the end they just let me go up front, I could not go any slower.
The whole trip took us about 8 hours. It was great!
I ended the day by going to the hot springs to relax. I almost fell asleep in them, little dangarous maybe haha..
The day after I rented a bicycle to cycle up to a beach and a place where they had lagunas and little waterfalls (this place looked like a fairytale). I was very tired after that, maybe a little bit to much of working out those days.
That night I left to Santiago and from Santiago I was lucky enough to get a bus to Mendoza right after. More about that later.

Leuk om zo je verhalen te kunnen lezen! Volgens mij ben je daar echt lekker aan het genieten :) Wat is de volgende bestemming? Ik word er jaloers van als ik dat allemaal lees haha.

Wauw, dat is alweer snel een update! Gaaf hoor zo in de sneeuw. Dat moet een hele gave ervaring zijn geweest om zo naar beneden te gaan!
En weet je al waar je hierna heen gaat voor de kerst? Dan toch eindelijk een keer naar de warmte en de zon? ;) De foto's zijn weer fantastisch!! :)

Pucon vediend inderdaad een blog voor zichzelf zo te zien.
Je verhaal is weer heerlijk en de foto's werkelijk fantastish,
Ben ook blij dat jij op de foto's staat.
Kan ik je zien genieten.
Nog even en dan Peru.
Ben heel benieuwd wat voor prachtige dingen we daar gaan zien.
Kijk uit naar je volgende blog, fijn dat deze al zo snel kwam.
